A performance night that provides a platform for audiovisual collaboration, developed through Q Art’s ongoing programme of Playback events, Trigger is a new partnership with Hunting For Teeth. The aim of this series of events is to bring artists, musicians, filmmakers and creative practitioners together to make new work in unconventional locations.
Trigger offers a supportive space for experimentation between artists and musicians based in Derby and beyond. Music will initiate film, film will provoke sound, a photographic slide show will trigger text. Witness contemporary art in action resulting in cinematic audio visual beauty and harmonious discord. Featuring recorded footage of Alistair Gentry’s Nowhere Plains.
